You'd go for chai at Nimrah, or a walk on Prakasam Barrage, if one other person was up for it. M IN is for that. People near you post small plans. You ask to join. The host says yes. You turn up.
Your city is full of people who'd say yes.
There's a 6-a-side at Gachibowli after work that's two players short. There's an evening at Bhavani Island you'd go to if one other person came. In Gudivada or Guntur it's a shuttle game after dinner, or a walk to the tiffin centre. Your friends have moved, or married, or are asleep by ten. The people are here. The plans are here. What's missing is a way to say "who's in?" to someone nearby and have them actually turn up. That's the whole app.
What it doesn't do
- No feed to scroll.
- No followers, no likes, no numbers next to your name.
- No DMs from strangers. A chat opens only when a host lets you into a plan, or when two people wave at each other.
- No plans at private homes with people you've just met. Public places only.
- Not everywhere yet. We're starting in South India, with Hyderabad and Vijayawada first, and adding cities as people there start posting.

Open the app. Plans within a few kilometres, today and this week. Chai, cricket, a walk, a gig, someone's cousin's open mic. Or post your own in about a minute: a name, a time, a place, how many spots.
Ask to join
One tap. The host sees your profile, with the verified tick, and says yes or no. No essay. If you'd rather chat first, wave.
Chat, find each other, go
You're in a small chat with everyone who's going. The host drops a pin for the exact spot. On the day, share live location for an hour so nobody's at the wrong gate.
Four people at a table talk. Forty people in a group don't. So spots are limited on purpose.
Fair questions
Is it a dating app?
No. Plans are for groups, three to six people usually, in public places. There's no swiping and no "matching". If two people who met at a plan want to talk, one can wave, and the other can wave back or not. That's as far as we go.
Who sees my number?
Nobody. Not the host, not the people in the plan, not the person you waved at. You sign in with it, we keep it to ourselves, and every chat happens inside the app.
What if nobody joins my plan?
Then you have a chai by yourself, which is not the worst Sunday. Honestly, plans with a clear time, a real place and a short, specific name fill faster. "Walk around KBR, 6:30, slow pace" beats "anyone free?" every time.
Do I have to show my face?
Yes, on your profile. Hosts are letting strangers into their plan and they want to see who's asking. Your photo is only shown to verified people on M IN, it's checked before it goes up, and you can take it down whenever you want.
Is it free?
Yes. No subscription, no boosts, no paying to be seen. If that ever changes we'll say so here first, in plain words, before it happens.

Live location, and a pin for the meeting spot
The hardest part of any plan is the last hundred metres. "I'm at the gate." "Which gate?" So:
- Hosts can drop a pin on the plan. Not the area, the exact spot. The bench, the bandi, the second gate.
- Inside a plan chat you can share live location for 15 minutes, an hour, or until the plan ends. It switches itself off. You can switch it off sooner.
Only people in that chat can see it, and we don't keep it once the share ends. That was the whole point.

Every plan chat and every private conversation is end-to-end encrypted from today. The keys live on your phone. We can't read your messages, and we've built it so we never could, even if someone asked nicely.
Smaller things that landed with it:
- Long-press a message to react.
- Hold the mic to send a voice note. Slide left to cancel, like you'd expect.
- Secret messages: seen once, then gone.
- Waves. Met someone at a plan and want to say hi without joining another plan? Wave. If they wave back, you get a private chat. If they don't, nothing happens and nobody's embarrassed.

Two days in and the first fake profile turned up. Expected, still annoying. So, from now:
- You verify before you can host or join anything. Verified profiles get a tick.
- Every profile and plan photo is checked before anyone else sees it. Usually minutes, sometimes an hour.
- Report a person, plan or message from the three-dots menu. A person on our side reads it. Not a bot.
Meeting strangers should feel easy, not brave.
